L(EYES): Looking With Your Eyes

Galeri Chandan, Publika

August, 2016

L(EYES): Looking With Your Eyes lets the audience question the notions of perception and explore subtle hidden possibilities by means of creating their own moiré patterns and discovering sights of optical illusions from various points of view through moving and positioning the patterns at different angles, as a result from their interaction and response towards the curated environment (with displays and sounds) in the gallery. This is also an act to pay homage to a very popular scientific finding called Moiré patterns, the artist uses these patterns as a metaphor to show that there is more than one way to look at things, perhaps we collectively need more than one perspective to complete the puzzle.
